Ajita led a guided meditation session that began with a candle lighting ceremony and included a loving-kindness meditation. The practice featured a detailed Yoga Nidra session where participants were guided through a progressive body scan, followed by visualization exercises to create a personal safe space. The session concluded with an invitation for participants to reflect on their physical, emotional, and spiritual states before and after the practice.
Ajita led a guided yoga and meditation session focused on yin yoga practices and the concept of neuroplasticity. She discussed the five koshas (layers of the self) and led participants through two yin yoga poses: a forward fold with butterfly legs and a wall-supported pose. The session emphasized relaxation, breath awareness, and allowing the body to soften into poses rather than forcing them. Ajita encouraged participants to notice any physical or emotional sensations that arose during the practice and to explore how discomfort can be both a challenge and an opportunity for growth. The session concluded with a guided meditation to connect with the bliss body (Anandamaya Kosha), inviting participants to carry this sense of inner peace into their daily lives.
In this video, I introduced and guided participants through Moksha Kriya, a powerful meditation practice from the Kundalini yoga tradition. I explained that Moksha means liberation and Kriya refers to an action or practice designed to purify energy channels and access higher states of consciousness. I demonstrated the two-part breathing technique, which involves inhaling once through the nose and exhaling twice through the mouth, followed by breath retention. After the practice, I encouraged participants to bring awareness to their third eye chakra and expand that awareness throughout their body and surroundings. I concluded by discussing the concept of the Inner Oasis Collective, emphasizing how meditation can help us connect with our inner sanctuary and better navigate the physical world.
